Cancellation Policy
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY LESSONS BE RESCHEDULED OR REFUNDED.

We operate a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY to all customers asking for lessons to be rescheduled or refunded if they are unable to attend.

Any client asking will be instantly refused and clients that have previously asked are now BARRED from attending in future. Cancellation or failure to attend is forfeiture of that lesson.

Pete Beswick Drums is not required to reschedule or make up lessons unless they are unable to attend or otherwise responsible for the cancellation.

What if there are 5 days in a month that I have lessons?

You get the 5 lessons that month! If there are e.g. 5 Mondays instead of 4 for a specific month you get the 5th lesson that month!

What if my teacher is ill and I've already paid in advance for that months lesson?

The lesson will be delivered either by an alternative teacher or as a video feedback lesson. Where a video feedback lesson is provided, it is the student’s responsibility to submit a recording before their next scheduled lesson. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of that lesson. Refunds will only be issued where the lesson cannot be provided in an alternative format.

What if myself/child is ill or I/we can't make a lesson that month?

Cancellation or failure to attend a lesson will result in forfeiture of that lesson. Pete Beswick Drums is not required to reschedule or make up lessons. Lessons are non-transferable and must be attended by the individual they are booked for each week.

If a lesson is missed due to illness or any other reason, it cannot be rescheduled or refunded. To support continued progress, a video feedback lesson may be used instead, where a recording can be sent via WhatsApp and detailed personalised feedback will be provided.

What happens at Bank Holidays and Christmas?

Lessons that fall on bank holidays will continue unless informed. Any lessons that fall around the festive period will be refunded.

What happens when my teacher is on Holiday in the Summer?

All subscriptions will pause on 1st August each year and no payments will be taken until 1st September when lessons resume.

Can I sit in whilst my child has their lesson?

Parents/Guardians are required to drop off and then pickup before the conclusion of the lesson.

All progress, feedback and homework will be sent using the email provided on booking as the lesson ends.

If your child is unable to attend without the parent/guardian being present they are to young to receive drum tuition.

All primary school students must be collected by a parent/guardian from the studio at the end of each lesson.

Lessons run back-to-back. The next lesson will begin at the scheduled time regardless of collection. If a parent/guardian is late, the student will be required to wait until collection is possible.

Feedback is not provided verbally at pickup and will be sent via email.

What if I want to cancel my contract?

Lessons operate on a rolling monthly basis. There are no long-term commitments.

30 days’ written notice is required to cancel recurring lessons. Notice will run from the date it is received. Payments made within the 30-day notice period are non-refundable and lessons will continue during that time.

Payments secure your allocated weekly lesson time and are non-refundable once processed.

During the notice period, lessons will continue as normal and remain payable whether attended or not.

If a contract is cancelled, there is no guarantee the same day or time will be available should lessons restart.

Pete Beswick Drums reserves the right to cancel a student’s contract with notice where necessary, including but not limited to safeguarding concerns, repeated policy breaches, or non-payment. To cancel your current contract simply email at: petebeswickdrums@gmail.com

I don't want to go onto a monthly contract. Can I do pay as you go?

Yes, but there is no guarantee you will be able to keep booking the same day and time moving forward. Lessons can be booked using the website at your own convenience.

I want to go ahead. How do I confirm my day and time?

All monthly plans will start immediately so it's important to get a scheduled day and time setup before purchase. Do to this simply email at: petebeswickdrums@gmail.com to discuss when you would like drum tuition and to be booked onto the weekly schedule. This day and time is then yours for the duration of the plan.
